The Pediatrics Cruz, It is one of the scientific societies of greatest in Santa Cruz de la Sierra to write close to it envelops integrity, The deep respect and admiration for the chain of events that they express from distinguished pediatric doctors who built in their history ,first motivating his birth and then promoting his development, until it becomes the vital axis that groups, and invigorates the specialized scientific activity of a large contingent of professionals dedicated to improving the health of children.
In honor those pediatricians, We gave ourselves the task of investigating, Check to publicize a synthesis, to protect from oblivion, of ingratitude and honor those pediatricians who saw birth and gave life to the Cruz de Pediatrics society.
We are convinced that the history and future of the Pediatrics Store Society is built among all pediatric doctors.
BACKGROUND
In 1963 In Quito-Ecuador, The VII Pan American Congress is made, The South American VII and the Ecuadorian Pediatrics and among the conclusions it was approved recommending to all countries, to create pediatrics societies in every city that has six or more children's specialists.
In this scientific event was Bolivia represented by several Cruceños colleagues and among them, El dr. Rafael Moreno Forteza, And our delegation had the success of inviting the country to DR. Guido Fantoni, who accepts the invitation, dictating conferences in La Paz and Santa Cruz at the end of August of 1963.
This visit reason to pediatricians Cueceños to found a group that dominated "Fanconi", that gathered monthly, Since September 1963.
Foundation Of society
Some members of the "Fanconi" group, After attending the II National Congress of Pediatrics held in Cochabamba they met at the Library of the Children's Hospital “Dr. Mario Ortiz Suarez.
And that is where the Pediatrics Cruzenña Society was born in September 1965 ”with the name of“ Pediatria Cruz Association.

The year 1977, Under the presidency of Dr Jorge Flores Aguilera the Society of Pediatrics Cruz, SCP, We took charge of the construction of the auditorium of the Pediatrics Cruz, SCP, with funds initially financed by the National Board of Social Action, Jnas, of the Presidency of the Republic, It was built inside the Mario Ortiz Suárez Children's Hospital (HNMOS), the jnas,, The one chaired by the DR. Alex Arteaga Cabrera (+), El dr. Flores was advised, To get the funds, by dr. Alfredo Romero Dávalos with what was built the auditorium and delivered the finished work.
The architectural project of the beautiful auditorium was carried out by the ARQ. Sergio Antelo Gutiérrez (+) free, The work was built by the ING. Poroto Antelo (+) who also executed it without personal profit.
The auditorium armchairs were also "borrowed" by the Jnas and were finally for the auditorium.

Start of Pediatrics Teaching promoted by the Cruceña de Pediatrics Society
